STUDIO CITY ( — Executive Chef Freddy Vargas of Scarpetta in Beverly Hills visited CBS2 This Morning for Foodie Friday!

Vargas prepared the Italian restaurant’s famous porchetta- which is perfect for the holidays as alternative to baked ham.  It’s featured in Chef Scott Conant’s new cookbook, The Scarpetta Cookbook, which came out this fall.

The dish is also available at the Scarpetta bar during happy hour, three sliders for $8, Monday – Saturday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
