VALENCIA (CBSLA.com) — Jesus has returned — to the Valencia Westfield Town Center, at least.

A mall official says a baby Jesus figurine that went missing Monday from a Nativity scene has been returned, according to the Daily News.

“One of our staff members found him here on the property, and we’re very grateful that he’s back,” Stacie House of the Valencia Westfield Town Center told the Daily News.

It was not immediately clear exactly where and how the figurine was found.

Grace Baptist Church in Santa Clarita donates the Nativity scene to the mall every year.

The figurine will be showcased in an outdoor Nativity display in the patio area of the mall throughout the Christmas holiday.

“We are so grateful that he’s back as part of our holiday tradition here,” House told the Daily News. “It’s certainly a part of the magic of the holiday.”
