SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA.com) — A San Bernardino man is wanted in the fatal stabbing of his 28-year-old wife, police said Thursday.

Edly Atherley, 33, is accused of killing his wife, Ashley, at their home in the 2000 block of College Avenue.

Deputies discovered the victim’s body in a bathroom on Sunday after responding to a welfare check at the residence, officials said.

“The investigation revealed she had been stabbed and was deceased sometime between the 29th and the 1st,” Det. Al Tello said. “Evidence suggests this is domestic violence related.”
