Deputy Injured After Patrol Car Collides With Big Rig In Rancho Cucamonga
RANCHO CUCAMONGA (CBSLA.com) — A San Bernardino County sheriff's deputy was injured Friday night after his patrol car collided with a big rig in Rancho Cucamonga.
The incident happened around 8 p.m. at 4th Street and Hermosa Avenue.
KCAL9's Crystal Cruz reports that a security guard who works at a nearby building said she saw the victim on the ground, saying, "My leg is broken, my leg is broken."
The deputy was rushed to the hospital. The extent of his injuries is unknown.
The sheriff's department would not comment on the accident.
