10K Receive Meals At 31st Annual Jackson Limousine Service Turkey Giveaway
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — More than 10,000 people lined up Tuesday for the 31st Annual Jackson Limousine Service Turkey Giveaway.
The successful company and chauffeur service, founded by E.J. Jackson, provides senior citizens on fixed-incomes and needy families with Thanksgiving meals.
The event, which began at 8 a.m., was held until 4 p.m. at the Jackson Limousine Service fleet yard, 3669 West Slauson Ave.
The meal included a turkey and dinner fixings such as cornbread, greens, yams and cranberry sauce.
