Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Nov. 25)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Enjoy the first part of the work week because Monday and Tuesday will be wonderful days with temperatures running 4 to 6 degrees above average.

A ridge of high pressure will move into the area giving us a mild off-shore flow with gusty winds staying below advisory levels.

For the middle of the week, things turn murky.  An area of low pressure should approach the district late Wednesday and hang through Saturday morning.  We can expect the clouds to thicken up on Wednesday evening.

Right now it appears the best chances for rain will be later Thursday into Friday morning; however, there are several factors that could change the forecast.  If the track of the low shifts slightly to the west (by just a few hundred miles) we will be dry.  If it shifts a few hundred miles to the east, we will have a  much wetter forecast.  Right now it's a guarantee that we will be cooler for the holiday.  But it could be a wet holiday.

Basin -low to mid 70s

Beaches - upper 60s

Valleys - mid to upper 70s

Mountains - upper 40s

Deserts - mid 60s
