OC Massage Therapist Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Clients

BREA (CBSLA.com) — A yearlong investigation led to the arrest Thursday of a man for alleged sexual assaults he committed while working as a massage therapist.

Michael James Jackson, owner of "On the Spot Therapy", faces several sex-related charges including sexual penetration, rape, battery and possession of child pornography.

The investigation into the Fullerton resident began in October 2012 when a 38-year-old Brea resident told police she was inappropriately touched during a massage at her home.

"During the investigation into this crime, detectives located two additional victims who reported they were sexually assaulted by Jackson in their homes, under the guise of performing a massage," Lt. Darrin Devereaux said.

Those alleged assaults occurred in 2012 and 2000.

"During the serving of a search warrant on Jackson's Fullerton home in December of 2012, a computer was seized and a forensic analysis uncovered images of child pornography," Lt. Devereaux added.

Jackson, 47, was booked into the Orange County Jail and is being held on $1,000,000 bail.

Detectives believe there could be additional victims who are too embarrassed to come forward.

Anyone with information should contact Brea Police Detective Debbie Stark at (714) 990-7638.
