Man Wanted For Alleged Lewd Conduct At Corona Del Mar High School

NEWPORT BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Help is needed to track down a man suspected of exposing himself at Corona Del Mar High School last month.

Joshua Joseph Koon, 38, is wanted on a misdemeanor charge of lewd conduct in a public place, Newport Beach police spokeswoman Jennifer Manzella said.

Koon was "observed in what appeared to be lewd conduct" next to the school's tennis courts, where a group of female students were practicing, just before 3 p.m. on Oct. 25, Manzella said.

Police say the suspect was chased off campus by school officials and was gone by the time officers arrived.

A $15,000 misdemeanor warrant for Koon's arrest was issued on Nov. 6.

Koon is known to use two cars on a regular basis – a gray 2004 Toyota Tundra with a Nevada license plate 717YLP and a blue 1995 Toyota Corolla with an Alaska plate FGH830. Anyone with information about Koon's whereabouts can contact Newport Beach police Det. Peter Carpentieri at (949) 644-3772 or Det. Sgt. Doug Jones at (949) 644-3775.
