2 Suspects Sought In Fatal Shooting Of Clerk At Check-Cashing Store In Chino

CHINO (CBSLA.com) — Authorities are hunting two suspects they say shot and killed a clerk at a check-cashing store in Chino Friday afternoon.

The shooting occurred inside the Check N Go in the 12000 block of Central Avenue in Chino just before 1:30 p.m.

Officials said the unidentified female clerk was apparently killed during the commission of a robbery.

Police said two males walked into the location, shot the clerk, robbed the store and then fled in a dark-colored four-door Nissan Altima.

One suspect was described as a Latino, about 20, with a medium build. He wore a Boston Red Sox baseball cap, light gray hoodie, black pants and black shoes. The second suspect was described as dark-complexioned (Latino or African-American), about 30, stocky build, wearing a dark baseball cap, dark hoodie and dark pants.

The suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
