STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — Christine Marge, Director of Housing Stability at United Way, and Navy veteran Marva Lewis stopped by KCAL9 Monday to tell viewers about United Way’s 7th Annual HomeWalk.

The 5K run/walk on Nov. 23 is part of United Way’s campaign to end poverty in Los Angeles County.

Over the past six years, nearly 40,000 people have participated in the event, raising more than $3 million and helping move over 13,000 people off the streets and into housing.

The HomeWalk begins in Exposition Park, 700 Exposition Park Dr., at 9 a.m. Check-in starts at 7 a.m.
