Father Arrested For Meth Possession, Child Endangerment In Riverside County

WILDOMAR (CBSLA.com) — A 26-year-old father was in custody Tuesday for allegedly being in possession of narcotics and endangering his 1-year-old child in Riverside County.

Wildomar Police Department arrested Clayton Chavez Saturday after allegedly finding narcotics and narcotics-related paraphernalia in a detached garage at a residence in the 32000 block of Central Street.

Chavez, who was reportedly on probation for previous criminal offenses, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of narcotics paraphernalia, being under the influence of a controlled substance and child endangerment, police said.

His 1-year-old child was turned over to Child Protective Services.
