Fontana Man, 23, Killed In Mira Loma Crash
MIRA LOMA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a 23-year-old man was killed when he swerved on the Ontario (15) Freeway in Mira Loma and slammed into a tree.
The driver, identified as Luis Martinez of Fontana, was headed northbound when he veered off the road and hit the tree, according to the Riverside County Coroner's Office.
The accident occurred about 1,500 feet north of Bellegrave Avenue at about 11:27 p.m. Saturday, the coroner's office reported.
Martinez was taken to Riverside Community Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries early Sunday.
