Man Killed In Hollywood Car Crash
HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — One person was killed Monday morning in an accident involving a taxi cab and another vehicle.
The crash occurred at Sunset Boulevard and La Brea Avenue just before 2:30 a.m., the Los Angeles Police Department said.
According to police, a male Latino driver was traveling at a high rate of speed when he crashed his vehicle into several parked cars and then into a taxi.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the cab was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The intersection of Sunset and La Brea was closed for an investigation.
