LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Hundreds of people lined up early Monday morning for wristbands guaranteeing admission to a free health clinic this week in Exposition Park.

KNX 1070’s Jon Baird reports Care Harbor LA will hold a massive free clinic Oct. 31 through Nov. 3 at the LA Sports Arena to provide medical and dental services to the underinsured and underserved in Los Angeles County.

The clinic requires a wristband, which will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis, for admission to the third annual event.

“Wristbands are not removable without destroying them, so the person who receives it will be the one admitted to the clinic,” officials said.

Patients can choose the date they want to attend the clinic, and the selected date will be reflected in the wristband.
