Police say a group of suspects attacked the then-22-year-old transgender woman in the 6200 block of Hollywood Boulevard about 2:15 a.m. on May 31. The victim, identified by police only as “Vivian,” was hospitalized for a week with a broken jaw, broken ribs, two fractured eye sockets and other injuries.

Security video circulated by police showed the group of young men knocking down the victim, who was wearing a sheer dress, and then delivering several kicks to her head and body.
