Man Donning Halloween Mask Robs Walgreens Pharmacy For Oxycodone

SIMI VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — A man donning a Halloween mask stole prescription drugs from a Walgreens pharmacy in Simi Valley over the weekend.

Police said the suspect entered the store at 2416 Cochran Street shortly before 5:30 p.m. Oct. 19, walked around and then put on a mask.

The man then jumped over the pharmacy counter and demanded oxycodone pills from the pharmacist.

The pharmacist, fearing for his safety, gave the man several pill bottles.

The suspect then fled the location.

No one was injured during the incident.

The suspect was described as Caucasian or Hispanic, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, in his mid-to-late 20s, with short dark hair and a medium build.

He was last seen wearing a brown flannel long-sleeved shirt, denim style jeans and a dark colored baseball-style hat.
