Porsche, Mercedes Among Cars Damaged In Blaze At Las Flores Home

LAS FLORES (CBSLA.com) — Firefighters quickly put out an overnight blaze at a large home in the Las Flores area of unincorporated Orange County.

Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Steve Concialdi says the blaze at the 3,500-square-foot home at 48 Shea Ridge was reported just before 1:45 a.m. Sunday. Firefighters had it under control about 2:11 a.m.

Concialdi said the fire likely started in the attached garage of the home.

According to City News Service, a Porsche and a Mercedes, both 2012 models, were likely a "total loss," and two cars in the driveway sustained major damage.

Concialdi said that two bedrooms above the attached garage and other parts of the home sustained some damage.

In all, six people were removed from the home. No injuries were reported.

The Red Cross was reportedly assisting the family in making lodging arrangements.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
