Garden Grove Man Wanted On Suspicion Of Stabbing Wife, 30
GARDEN GROVE (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Sunday were searching for a 34-year-old Garden Grove man suspected of stabbing his wife during an apparent domestic dispute.
Garden Grove police Lt. Jeff Nightengale said the 30-year-old unidentified victim managed to flee to a neighbor's home and call police.
She was taken to an area hospital where she was treated for a non-life threatening stab wound.
The incident unfolded about 9:11 p.m. Saturday near the 13000 block of Partridge.
The lieutenant said in a department statement that the victim was first assaulted and then stabbed.
The suspect, identified by police as 34-year-old Joshua Frank Olivas of Garden Grove, allegedly fled in his vehicle, which was found a short time later.
Olivas is 5-feet, 9-inches tall and weighs 280 pounds. He has black hair and multiple tattoos.
