Teen Arrested In Culver City Sex Assault

CULVER CITY (CBSLA.com) — A teenage boy has been arrested in connection with a sexual assault that occurred near a Metro station in Culver City earlier this month, officials announced Friday.

A photo of the unidentified suspect released to the public spawned a tip that led to his arrest sometime after 7 p.m. Thursday, police said.

The teen is accused of following a woman on Oct. 9 after she exited the Metro and sexually assaulting her on the sidewalk near National Boulevard and Eastham Drive.

The suspect, who is a resident of Los Angeles, was booked at Central Juvenile Hall.
