Teen Sought For Sexually Assaulting Woman On Sidewalk Near Culver City Metro
CULVER CITY (CBSLA.com) — Police Thursday were searching for a teen who sexually assaulted a woman on a sidewalk near a Metro Rail train station.
The assault occurred on Oct. 9 near National Boulevard and Eastham Drive in Culver City, officials said.
Prior to the assault, the 31-year-old female victim rode the Metro from downtown Los Angeles to the Jefferson/La Cienega station, where she exited.
"The suspect, who was also on the train, exited and followed the victim closely behind," police said. "The suspect and victim walked into the boundaries of the city of Culver City, where the suspect committed the sexual assault while on the sidewalk."
The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his mid-to-late teens. He was approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall with a slim build and wore tan shorts and a brown sweatshirt at the time of the attack.
