An investigation into the doctor began last year after the Medical Board of California received complaints about Dimowo, according to the Times.

The outlet reports undercover agents posing as patients alleged Dimowo wrote prescriptions for Vicodin, Norco, Adderall and Xanax without legitimate need.

Dimowo’s attorney, Steve Meister, said his client would emerge from “this so-called case unscathed, as he deserves to”.
