The 8th Annual Taste Of Soul Family Festival Is This Weekend!

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — Danny Bakewell, a spokesperson from Taste of Soul, Carl Thomas and Beverly O'Bryant from Brandiva and Sir Jerks restaurant stopped by KCAL9 Tuesday to tell viewers about the 8th Annual Taste of Soul Family Festival!

Brandiva and Sir Jerk's food is a made from scratch fusion of tastes from Caribbean and African America Soul Cuisine with gourmet flair.

They specialize in Jerk chicken prepared with 17 Caribbean spices, rice with a variety of beans, Caribbean style cabbage, mixed greens and a wide selection of Jamaican and Soul foods.

Taste of Soul Family Festival will take place Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Crenshaw Boulevard.
