Motorcyclist Killed After Colliding With Vehicle In Perris

PERRIS (CBSLA.com) — A 22-year-old man was killed in a Saturday afternoon crash in Perris.

The collision happened at 5 p.m. at Evans Road and Rider Street. The crash involved a car and a motorcycle.

Officials say Giovanni Macias of Perris was driving the passenger car that collided with a Yamaha motorcycle. Macias was uninjured and remained at the scene, officials said.

The rider of the bike was transported to an area hospital where he died.

Officials said his identity has been withheld pending notification of next of kin.

He was only described as a Perris resident.

The crash remains under investigation.
