Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Oct. 10)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Quite a day yesterday.  This was a nice little introduction to winter.

Rainfall totals are hovering in the ballpark of .10" to .25" which was right on track with the forecast.

We did get a couple of heavy downpours, but we are done with the wet weather for a while.

The cold air is in place today, so you can expect our highs to be well below normal by more than 10 degrees in some cases.  Today's highs are barely making out of the 60s.

We will start a gradual warming trend as we make our way into the weekend.

However, it appears even with some of the warmer weather we will remain below average for this time of year.  Temperatures should top out in the 70s.

The latest forecast model runs are now advertising another wind event from an inside slider on Monday, so we will watch for that.

Basin - upper 60s

Beaches - low 60s

Valleys - low 70s

Mountains - mid 40s

Deserts - upper 60s
