As the suspect tried to drag the girl into his car, an unidentified woman stopped her vehicle and pulled the man off the girl.

Officials said the man then took off and tried to kidnap another girl 15 minutes later.

The suspect, later identified as 35-year-old Ashley Price, was arrested Friday and booked for attempted kidnapping. His bail was set at $100,000.

Investigators believe there could be more victims.

Anyone with information on the crime and/or the Good Samaritan was asked to call Det. Cynthia Sanchez at (310) 605-6532 or the Compton Sheriff's Station at (310) 605-6500.
