Motorcyclist Gravely Injured Following Crash With Car Near Rose Bowl

PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — A motorcyclist was gravely injured following a crash between his cycle and a car near the Rose Bowl, authorities said.

The crash occurred around 9:10 a.m. on the 134 Freeway near the Orange Grove Boulevard exit, said California Highway Patrol Officer Ed Jacobs.

After the motorcyclist collided with a vehicle, the rider was thrown from his bike and run over by another vehicle.

No one was cited or arrested, Jacobs said.
