UCLA Police Looking To Nab Suspect For Attempted Sexual Assault

WESTWOOD (CBSLA.com) — UCLA Police are on the hunt for a suspect they say attempted a sexual assault early Friday morning.

Police said around 2:30 a.m. the suspect grabbed a woman from behind at 310 De Neve Drive (Rieber Hall) and attempted to sexually assault her.

The suspect was interrupted by two passersby and immediately left the area.

Police also believe the same suspect grabbed a second victim's buttocks at a nearby residence hall.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned 20-25 year old who is 5 feet 10 to 6 feet 1 inches tall and between 180-200 pounds. He has short brown hair with a thin mustache.

The man was seen wearing a blue tank top, blue jeans and tennis shoes.

Campus Police want to remind the community to walk with others at night and to call them if you see anyone acting suspiciously.
