Bicyclist Critically Injured In Collision With Truck On PCH In Malibu

MALIBU (CBSLA.com) — An accident involving a box truck and a bicyclist forced the closure of Pacific Coast Highway early Wednesday morning.

The collision occurred at 4:54 a.m. just west of Coastline Drive, between Topanga Canyon and Sunset Boulevard, the California Highway Patrol said.

The female cyclist was critically injured in the crash and was transported to a local hospital, the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.

Both sides of PCH were reopened around 6:50 a.m.
