Officials ID Man, 24, Killed After Falling Through Door Of Party Bus On 101 Freeway

UNIVERSAL CITY (CBSLA.com) — Authorities have identified a 24-year-old man who was fatally struck by several vehicles after falling through the door of a party bus on the Hollywood (101) Freeway over the weekend.

Christopher Joseph "C.J." Saraceno was killed at 12:23 a.m. Sunday in the southbound lanes just south of Lankershim Boulevard in Universal City, officials said.

Saraceno's father said he was changing the music on the bus when it turned, causing him to fly out the door, according to City News Service.

"A party bus was southbound on the 101 near Barham when, for an unknown reason, an individual exited the bus and was subsequently struck by an unknown number of vehicles," CHP officer Monica Posada said.

CHP Sgt. Ray Diggins told KNX 1070 that there were approximately 23 passengers on the bus at the time, celebrating a coworkers' birthday.

Saraceno was pronounced dead at the scene.

He grew up in Watertown, Conn. and attended Tufts University. Saraceno worked as a Brand Content Strategist for NCLUSIVE, Inc., an event production and marketing firm in Los Angeles.

NCLUSIVE's CEO, Jess A. Richman, released this statement:

"CJ Saraceno was one of the most inspirational, positive and above all intelligent people that has ever entered the lives at NCLUSIVE. He was one of the inaugural members of our creative team and became a talent we couldn't function without."
