Man Dies Of Head Injury Following Assault At Lancaster Bar

LANCASTER (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Sunday continued to investigate the circumstances surrounding a deadly assault at a Lancaster bar.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said the assault occurred at a bar in the 44200 block of Division Street about 12:37 a.m. Saturday.

The unidentified male victim was taken to a local hospital where he died of a head injury.

The statement says one person was taken into custody. Authorities withheld the suspect's identity, citing an ongoing investigation.
