Ventura Man, 18, Arrested On Suspicion Of Prowling

VENTURA (CBSLA.com) — An 18-year-old man from Ventura has been arrested on suspicion of prowling.

Ventura County police said officers received a 911 call of an unknown subject attempting to enter a home about 7:23 a.m. Saturday.

As the victim was on the phone giving authorities a suspect description, he fled.

The statement said the suspect, later identified as Daniel Williams, was located near a business several addresses away from the victim's home.

Williams was taken into custody and booked into the Ventura County Jail on suspicion of prowling and providing a false name to officers.
