Palmdale Woman Finds Dead Man In Her Backyard
PALMDALE (CBSLA.com) — A Palmdale woman walked out to her backyard Saturday morning and discovered a man shot to death.
The resident went to her backyard in the 5200 block of East Avenue S 4 around 9:45 a.m.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Police believe the man was shot elsewhere and collapsed in the woman's yard. Palmdale Sheriff's Station Deputies responded to a shots fired call around 12:30 a.m. at a large party, in the 36900 block of Charter Court.
They found evidence that a shooting occurred but couldn't find a possible victim.
The victim's identity is not being released.
Detectives are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the murder.
