BELMONT HEIGHTS (CBSLA.com) — Police were involved with an officer-involved shooting in Belmont Heights Saturday night.

Officials said an unwanted man showed up at a residence and started a confrontation.

The homeowner called police after the man showed up at the Park Place residence with a firearm.

Authorities said the homeowner had a restraining order against the suspect.

Police shot the man but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
