No Disciplinary Action Taken Yet In Probe Of Deputies Suspected Of Cheating On Promotional Exam
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — No disciplinary action has been taken yet in a probe of possible cheating on the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department sergeants exam.
KNX 1070's Ron Kilgore reported that an internal affairs investigation was recently launched on concerns an unknown number of deputies might have had an unfair advantage on the promotional test.

Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said the test itself has been checked over, analyzing questions and scores.
Officials determined that after removing two questions, the outcome was still the same.
Whitmore said the investigation into who might have cheated is ongoing.
"I think it's going to be concluded rather quickly. It may be this or next week. Right now, we don't know what that's going to result in," he said.
