Man, 21, Arrested On Suspicion Of Stabbing Woman In The Throat

OXNARD (CBSLA.com) — A 21-year-old Oxnard resident has been taken into custody in connection with a stabbing last month.

Oxnard police said in a department statement that Carlos Arreola was arrested about 6 a.m. Friday in the area of Wooley Road and Rose Avenue.

Arreola is accused of stabbing a 30-year-old unidentified woman in the throat on Aug. 20. The victim was taken to St. John's Hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
