Injured Hiker Rescued From Fryman Canyon Park

HOLLYWOOD HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Los Angeles Fire Department officials Thursday rescued an injured hiker in the Hollywood Hills area.

Authorities were called around 7:45 a.m. to Fryman Canyon Park, 8400 Mulholland Dr.

The man reportedly fell while hiking in the 122-acre wilderness park.

He suffered an ankle injury and was hoisted by an LAFD helicopter to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, officials said.

No further details were released.
