Brush Fire Breaks Out After Truck Overturns In Calabasas
CALABASAS (CBSLA.com) — A brush fire broke out Wednesday afternoon after a pickup truck overturned in Calabasas.
Los Angeles County fire crews responded to a vehicle over the side of Mulholland Highway and Las Virgenes Road around 4:40 p.m.
The person inside the truck was able to get out, but a blaze, which grew to two acres, erupted because of the crash.
Two Super Scoopers, along with four helicopters, dropped water on the fire, which was contained around 5:40 p.m.
No structures were threatened and no injuries have been reported.
Mulholland Highway was closed down at Las Virgenes.
