LA County Sheriff's Deputy Accused Of Having Sex With Teen Girl
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputy has been accused of having sex with a teenage girl.
KNX 1070's Jon Baird reports John Augustus Rose II, 43, was arrested Thursday around 5:30 p.m. at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center and booked for felony lewd acts on a child 14 or 15 years old at the sheriff's East Los Angeles Station.

The sheriff's department received information from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department on Saturday that Rose had sex with a teen, according to authorities.
An investigation revealed that the alleged incidents happened between February and June while the deputy was off-duty.
Rose, who has been with the department for 22 years, was last assigned to the Community Oriented Policing Services Bureau.
In 2002, he was awarded the Medal of Valor for saving a woman from her home during a forest fire.
He was relieved of duty without pay and was being held on $325,000 bail.
Rose was scheduled to be arraigned Monday.
