Mark Frauenfelder, of Studio City, said his daughter was traveling with a group of high school students through LAX over the summer when a Transportation Security Administration officer, identified as Nna Alpha Onuoha, “verbally abused” her while checking the group’s identification.
“She got up to a point where the TSA agent is checking IDs. And he was glaring at my daughter and mumbling. So my daughter is like, ‘Excuse me?’ And he said, ‘You’re only 15! Cover yourself up!'” Frauenfelder said.
The teen sent angry text messages and a photo of herself dressed in leggings, a top and a long-sleeved flannel shirt to her parents.
The family later reported the incident to the TSA.
According to an essay found on satanhasfallen.org, Onuoha allegedly wrote, “If you need an example on how to properly dress your 15-year-old daughter before you send her out on a world tour in this world ruled by Satan, you should look up to Muslim women-learn how to dress your daughter like them, not like Madonna and those like her who lack good morals.”READ MORE: LAPD Deems Bomb Threat At USC As Non-Credible, Reopens Area
“It sounds like the work of a disturbed mind. I’m glad he’s in custody,” Frauenfelder said.
Onuoha was arrested Tuesday night after he resigned from his job as a TSA screener and allegedly made threats against LAX.
He had worked for the TSA since 2006 and had recently been suspended, the FBI said.
“Because my daughter had the good sense to complain about this, something happened and they found out that this guy is a danger. I mean making threats, telling the TSA to evacuate terminals,” Frauenfelder said. “This guy clearly has some problems.”
