Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Sept. 11)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Expect some low clouds again this morning, burning off for some hazy sunshine.

All in all, it should be a great hump day.  We are expecting highs still on the cooler side, running about five to seven degrees below average.

By tomorrow we start a gradual warming trend into the weekend.

The forecast models are now pulling back on the intensity of the warm up.  We'll see those temperatures get into the mid 80s downtown and 90s for the valleys by the weekend. I think we may avoid widespread triple digit heat.

The warm up is brief as we are looking at some cooler weather on Monday and the return of the marine layer.

The monsoonal flow has been shut down and it doesn't look like it's coming back for a while.  Enjoy the mild Southwest flow.

Basin - upper 70s to low 80s

Beaches - low 70s

Valleys - low 90s

Mountains - low 70s

Deserts - mid 90s
