Portion Of 405 Freeway To Close Overnight For Construction

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A portion of the San Diego (405) Freeway is scheduled to be closed overnight in West Los Angeles for construction.

Dave Sotero of Metro says the full southbound freeway closure between Santa Monica and National boulevards begins at midnight through 6 a.m. Saturday.

The anticipated closure will allow crews to realign freeway lanes to the west and adjust K-rails as part of the ongoing I-405 Sepulveda Pass Improvements project.

Southbound freeway traffic will be directed to exit at the Santa Monica Boulevard off-ramp.
