Puig Leaves Game In 6th Inning With Strained Knee
DENVER (AP) — Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig left the game Monday after straining his right knee on an awkward slide into third base.
The rookie later scored on a sacrifice fly in the sixth against the Colorado Rockies, but was replaced in right field by Skip Schumaker in the bottom half of the inning.
Puig was 1 for 3 and was hit by a pitch. He's hitting .351 this season with 14 homers and 32 RBIs this season.
