Report: Glendale Leads Calif. In Traffic Collisions
GLENDALE (CBSLA.com) — The city of Glendale has garnered the dubious distinction of having the most traffic collisions in the Golden State.
KNX 1070's Claudia Peschiutta reported that Glendale drivers crash more frequently than in any of the other 43 California cities included in the "Allstate America's Best Drivers Report."

Some residents were shocked by the ranking.
"I would think West Los Angeles (has the worst drivers)," said a woman.
Others were not so surprised.
"There are a lot of fast drivers here. Not a lot of people…they're not aware of the speed limits," a resident said.
Allstate spokesman Jim Klapthor said several factors can affect a city's rankings.
He said there are a number of freeways and interchanges in Glendale, and it's possible more collisions are reported in Glendale than in Forts Collins, Colo., which topped the best drivers list.
"If you're driving a late-model luxury car in Glendale, and you clipped your garage door and have damage to your car, there's a good chance you're contacting your insurance company," Klapthor said.
