Portion Of 405 Freeway To Close Overnight For Construction

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A portion of the San Diego (405) Freeway in the Sepulveda Pass is scheduled to be closed Saturday for ongoing construction in the area.

The northbound lanes of the thoroughfare will be closed to traffic from Getty Center Drive to Ventura Boulevard from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. Sunday.

The connector ramps from the Ventura (101) Freeway to the northbound I-405 will also be closed.

The anticipated closure is expected to allow construction crews to remove the falsework on the Mulholland Bridge, according to Metro, which indicated that Sepulveda Boulevard would be used as a detour.
