Canada Beats US To Reach 2015 Rugby World Cup

   TORONTO (AP) — Canada earned a spot at the 2015 Rugby World Cup, beating the United States 13-11 on Saturday in the second leg of their qualifying playoff.

Canada led 27-9 from last weekend's first game and went through 40-20 on aggregate. It earned a spot in Group D at the World Cup in in England, where it will face automatic qualifiers Ireland, Italy, France, and a European team to be determined.

The U.S. can still make the tournament if it beats Uruguay in a two-match series.

Canada captain Aaron Carpenter said "it is an amazing feeling to know that we will be there proudly representing Canada at Rugby World Cup."
