Jurupa Valley Woman Reported Missing Found 170 Miles From Home

JURUPA VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — A Jurupa Valley woman reported missing on Tuesday evening has been located roughly 170 miles from her care facility.

The Riverside County Sheriff's Department said on their website that 68-year-old Indelisa Rojas was receiving unspecified medical care at a hospital in El Centro.

The 68-year-old woman left the Mt. Rubidoux Nursing Center in the 6400 block of 33rd Street around 11 p.m. Tuesday and a search was subsequently launched.

By 5:48 a.m. Wednesday, a bloodhound that was following Rojas' scent had lost it at the southwest corner of 34th and Valley Way in Jurupa Valley.

Rojas, who was subsequently located, has since been reunited with her family, according to authorities.
