Anaheim Police Looking For Public's Help In Locating Person Of Interest In Series Of Fires

ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — Anaheim Police and Anaheim Fire and Rescue are on the lookout for a "person of interest" following a series of fires.

Authorities are saying the series of fires was set intentionally on Monday between 12:00 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. in the East Anaheim and Yorba Linda areas.

Of the three total fires that were reported, a person of interest was spotted in proximity in two of them. Witnesses indicate that the suspect was displaying bizarre behavior and had mentioned various types of fire apparatus.

The suspect is described as a white male, wearing all blue or a white tank top, and possibly driving a silver or gray Chrysler PT Cruiser.

The fires did not pose risk to homes or businesses.
