Mega Millions Jackpot Grows To $51M

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — No one matched all six numbers in Friday's Mega Millions draw and the jackpot will grow to $51 million.

The next draw will be Tuesday evening.

Two tickets with five numbers -- but missing the Mega number -- were sold in Maryland. Similar 5/5 tickets were also sold in Arizona, New Jersey and Virginia -- each is worth $250,000.

The numbers drawn Friday evening were 7, 13, 26, 36, 46. The Mega number was 37. The estimated jackpot for Friday evening was $43 million.

The Mega Millions game is played in 42 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The Mega Millions jackpot starts at $12 million and climbs every time there is no winner.

The record jackpot went to $656 million in March 2012.
