3 Arrested During Drug Raid At Riverside County Home

EASTVALE (CBSLA.com) — Authorities arrested three men Wednesday during a drug raid at a Riverside County house.

Sheriff's deputies raided a home on the 7600 block of Turtle Mountain Circle and found small amounts of methamphetamine and heroin, Riverside County Sheriff's Sgt. Andrew Elia said. They also uncovered several stolen Social Security cards, credit cards and other forms of identification.

Sommer Strickland, a probationer, Jeffrey Dines, 29, and Jarred Wallander, 28, a parolee, were arrested for alleged drug crimes, Elia said. Strickland and Dines also were arrested on suspicion of theft and fraud. Dines was released Thursday after posting $5,000 bail.

Deputies obtained a warrant to search the Eastvale home after they reportedly saw someone Saturday leave the residence and throw drugs and a revolver from their vehicle.

Elia said authorities apprehended a large bag containing methamphetamine and a .38 caliber revolver.

The driver, Brian Nunn, 28, of El Cajon, was arrested on suspicion of transporting methamphetamine and being a felon in possession of a loaded firearm. Jail records showed Nunn was released Tuesday after posting $50,000 bail.

Nunn's passenger, Tayler Jenkins, 22, of Norco, was arrested for an alleged probation violation and suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, Elia said. Jenkins was released Sunday after posting $5,000 bail.
