Portions Of 405, 22 Freeways To Close For 20 Hours In OC This Weekend
WESTMINSTER (CBSLA.com) — Portions of the 405 and 22 freeways will be closed in Orange County this weekend as Caltrans works to demolish an old carpool connector.
Because the 405 connector to the eastbound 22 Freeway has been reconstructed, workers will be removing the old structure.
"Bridge Bash" will take place from 9 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17, to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 18.
Closures will include:
- the northbound 405 Freeway at Valley View Street in Westminster
- the southbound 405 Freeway between the 605 Freeway junction to the eastbound 22 Freeway
- 7th Street/the eastbound 22 Freeway at the southbound 405 Freeway junction
